DPA ISO 7 PIN PLUG CONTROL BOX

  • DPA ISO control box with speed information taken from the 7-pin plug in the tractor cab.

  • DPA = Flow Proportional to Forward Speed.

  • The DPA ISO regulates distribution in relation to the tractor's forward speed and an automatic stop linked to the lifting system (on mounted tools).

  • Compatible with our microgranulator/plant cover seeder: DELIMBE T14, T15, T17, T18 and T20.

DESCRIPTION OF THE DPA ISO BOX WITH 7 PIN PLUG

  • The DPA ISO with 7 pin plug regulates the flow of the distribution in relation to the advancement of the soil working tool (DPA system), continuously.

  • This is a flow rate system proportional to forward speed, with speed information taken from the tractor cab via the 7 pin plug. The system can be switched off and on again automatically with the 7-pin plug. Thanks to this plug, the tractor can cut the power supply to the engine when the lift is in the high position on a mounted tool, or cut the power supply to a distributor for a semi-mounted tool. When the implement is down, the system switches back on automatically. This system can be activated or disactivated.

  • The DPA ISO system is equipped with a control light and a control box in the tractor cab that incorporates the functions of the DELIMBE seed drills. It is supplied with switches for memorising speed and starting seeding at the end of the row.

The DPA ISO 7-pin plug includes:

  • A control box with flow adjustment potentiometer,
  • An on/off switch to control the distribution,
  • An on/off switch to control the blower,
  • A priming switch to operate the system without moving forward (e.g. to do your weighing),
  • A memorised speed switch, to save a setting (the desired speed).
  • A 7 pin plug  to be connected in the tractor cab.
  • Connection cable included with the box.

HOW TO USE THE DPA ISO WITH 7 PIN PLUG

It is preferable to use the adjustment table supplied with the machine to adjust the DPA.

DPA SETTING WITH 7 PIN PLUG

Make the following calculation to obtain a setting in kg/hour:

Speed x Working width x Dose per hectare = Kilograms per hour.

The result obtained will enable you to weigh the machine in one minute to obtain grams/minute and check the correct dose setting. This weight must then be converted into kilograms/hour.

To do this, keep your finger on the priming ("amorcage") switch for one minute. The rotor will then rotate to the desired setting.

If over- or under-dosing is detected during weighing, the potentiometer setting must be changed, and weighing repeated.

Once a setting has been made on the potentiometer, turn on the on/off switches to start the blower and distribution. The tractor must be moving at the set working speed for the DPA to receive speed information. When this working speed is obtained, press the memorized speed switch just one time. The green LED starts flashing. When it lights up and stops flashing, this means that the DPA is working. The dose is even, whatever the tractor's forward speed.
