The T15 seed drill with folding boom has the same features as the standard T15, and can be fitted with either an 80-liter or 120-liter tank. It is available for working widths of up to 6 meters.

The T15 boom is specially designed to be fitted to a quad bike. It can also be mounted behind a tractor with the “tractor hitch” adaptation, on a harrow or any other soil-working tool. The T15 ramp is self-contained and can be assembled very quickly (no ramp to build). It can be used to sow insecticide micro-granules, fertilizers, weed-killing granules, plant cover, cereals and small seeds.

DESCRIPTION OF THE T15 BOOM SEEDER

The T15 distributor features a blower driven by a 12-volt electric motor. A 12-volt, 40-60 rpm electric gearmotor drives the groove for seed distribution. The rotation speed of the spline is controlled to regulate the flow rate. The motor comes with a standard 40-turn connection, but you can increase output by changing the connection to 60 turns (40 turns: black/blue wire – 60 turns: black/red wire).
Electrical distribution via a spline, pneumatic transfer of seeds to splitters. Available from 3 to 6 meters as standard (6 outlets in 3m and 8 outlets from 4 to 6m). It is possible to go below 3 meters according to your needs, for example for vineyards or arboriculture. In this case, please contact us.
– Flow rate adjustment by in-cab electric box (to be added when purchasing the seed drill). Standard or DPA boxes include a 3-pin plug for power supply to the tractor with a 1.5-meter harness (2×2.5mm cable) and a 7-pin plug for connection to the distributor (4×2.5mm cable) with a 6-meter harness.
The air flow transfers the seed into the 30 mm inner diameter tubes.
Spark gaps are welded at regular intervals across the width of the boom. They are used to disperse the seeds.
The machine is equipped with a green flute (low flow rate). It is possible to order the seeder with a yellow or red flute.

T15 MICROGRANULATOR SEEDER OPTIONS WITH BOOM

Control units: we offer several choices of control units, standard or DPAE (Flow Proportional to Electronic Advance).

A standard control box is fitted with three switches: The first switch turns the blower on and off. The second switch, fitted with an indicator light, is used to switch the headland distribution on and off. A potentiometer with 0 to 30 scale is used to vary the flow rate, adjustable directly from the cab.
DPA with sensor to be positioned either on a wheel, on the end of a roller or on the back of a disc.
DPA with ISO connector, receives information from the tractor via the 7-pin connector (automatic cut-off on mounted implements).
DPA with GPS antenna positioned outside the cab (supplied with lift cut-off option).

There are 4 types of spline: White (very low flow), Green (low flow), Yellow (medium flow) and Red (high flow). For higher throughputs, choose the yellow spline for medium throughputs and/or the red spline for high throughputs.
Several ramps of different widths up to 6 meters are available. Ramps are foldable. The width of the ramps can be made smaller, from 1 to 3 meters, on request. It is possible to change the working width, as the ramps can be dismantled, by purchasing another set of ramps as an option.
A 3-point tractor hitch for mounting on the front or rear of a tractor.
A loading platform (if the unit is mounted on a tillage implement).
A 15-turn timing motor can be fitted on request, depending on your requirements. To use the device with minimum flow.

USES & TIPS FOR THE T15 SEEDER

Used on quad It allows very rapid seeding.
Used with curry harrow The machine is used to regenerate meadows in spring. The T15 blower seeder can be mounted on a power harrow, a stubble cultivator or any other tillage equipment.
Used on stubble cultivators The seeds must be dispersed by the boom and the sprays before the roller so that the soil projection covers the seedbed.
Used as a small seed drill It is placed on the stubble cultivator and seed distribution takes place between the tillage tool and the roller. An electric fan turbine incorporated into the T15 seed drill ensures pneumatic transfer of the seed to the spikes. Distribution is via a separate spline at each hose outlet, for optimum seeding uniformity. This spline is driven by an electric motor regulated by a control box.
The Delimbe T15 microgranulator is also specialized for arboriculture and vineyards.
For larger hopper capacities, use the T18 or T20.
